Words taught me how people organize meaning, protect themselves, and reveal what matters most.
Today, that same attentiveness shapes how I listen and engage in my clinical training. As a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee, I approach
my work with care, curiosity, and respect for the complexity of human experience.
My clinical training emphasizes presence over prescription, collaboration over interpretation, and emotional attunement over
performance. I work slowly and intentionally, attending to language, silence, and relational patterns as they emerge.
My orientation is humanistic and trauma-informed, with a strong respect for the client’s pace, autonomy, and lived context.
Rather than positioning myself as an expert, I aim to remain responsive, reflective, and grounded in supervision.
My training draws from relational, systemic, and evidence-based frameworks, and I integrate these approaches thoughtfully under
licensed supervision. I am continually learning how to hold emotional depth with structure, and insight with humility.
All clinical work is conducted under supervision through an approved practicum site, in accordance with
California Board of Behavioral Sciences requirements.
